| Setting the
Time and Date on the HU-961 |
|
| If you have a power outage or a brown out, the time and
date does drop off on the HU-961. Once this occurs, you must reset the
time and date. You do not need to reconnect your computer to do
this. The time and date can be put back in from the front panel of the HU-961.
Instructions on how to do so, follow. |
| To Set The Time: |
- From the front panel, press the "More" button twice.
- It will then ask you if you want to "Change Mode". Press "No".
- Then it will ask you if you want to "Set Time". Press "Yes".
- You then need to set the clock to military time. There will be two digits for
hours and two digits for minutes that you will be setting. You need to press the
"No" button until you get to the digit that you want. Press the
"Yes" button to accept the digit you want.
- Once the time is set, the HU-961 will say "Your choice is, set time?".
Press "No".
|
| To Set The Date: |
- The Date can be set in two ways.
If you set the time the next option will be to "Set Date". Press
"Yes".
If you want to just set the Date then the first two steps are the same as setting the time
and on the third step it will ask "Set Time". Press "No".
The next choice is to "Set Date". Press "Yes".
- You will now be setting the date as a Julian date. The Julian date is the number day of the year. For example - June
15 is the 166th day of the year except for leap year when it would be the 167th day of the
year. You will have to set three digits for the Julian
date, exa. Feb. 17 is the 48th day of the year so you would need to enter 048. You
will need to press the "No" button until you get to the digit that you want just
as you did setting the time.
- It will then ask you if you want to "Set Date". Press "No".
- Once you have set the date and time and you want to get the unit back to Ready status,
you can either wait a few minutes and it will reset itself automatically or you can press
the "More" and "No" buttons at the same time. You will need to
do this twice. Then you should be back at "Ready" mode.
