- To interface the PI-963 with an HU-961 that has a serial
number
of 380 or lower, you must use an external power supply (power cube)
9 volts DC 500mA connected as illustrated in the Installation Instructions
for the PI-963 Router (Figure 7) which accompanies the PI-963.
- If the serial number on the HU-961 has a letter
"A" above it, this unit
has been modified and puts out 9 volts on Pin 3 when it goes low.
When interfacing a PI-963 to this modified unit, it does not require an
external power supply but it should be interfaced as shown in the
middle diagram of the Installation Instructions for the PI-963
Router (Figure 7).
