MIP-921 E-prom Updates

MIP-921 FIRMWARE - LATEST VERSION

w/FCC Updated event codes

Serial #1100 - #1299

Version 1 is used when the MIP-921 is operated as a "Master" control for the cable override equipment (i.e. AV-70, IFV-BA) it will be attached to. The latest version e-prom chip is V1.10.

Version 3 is used when the MIP-921 is operated as a "Slave" system and is interfaced with the Cable Envoy™ Communication Multiplexer. The latest version e-prom chip is V3.5.

Serial #1300 - #1999

Version 4 is used when the MIP-921 is operated as a "Master" control for the cable override equipment (i.e. AV-70, IFV-BA) it will be attached to. The latest version e-prom chip is V4.5.

Version 6 is used when the MIP-921 is operated as a "Slave" system and is interfaced with the Cable Envoy™ Communication Multiplexer. The latest version e-prom chip is V6.2. This has the codes for the HC-971Hub Controller and the CMCT2500 Digital Envoy.

NOTE:

If you have a Cable Envoy™ Communication Multiplexer, the latest version e-prom chip for it is 3.63.

The latest version of e-prom chip for the Server used with the Cable Envoy™ Communication Multiplexer is 3.40.

Replacement E-proms may be ordered from HollyAnne Corporation by calling 308-428-4705 or e-mail hollyanne@centercable.tv. The E-prom chips cost $150.00 each. There is a $25.00 core charge for each old E-prom chip that is not returned to HollyAnne Corporation. NOTE: See Technical Bulletin 2001-4 for more information.
